Counterpain?????

Thought after 26/5/06, my nightmare = headache would be gone, since I dont have to study anymore.

Who knows, i'm still suffering from headaches, even i'm on holiday back home, away from all the books and notes. It had gone from bad to worse.

Medicines are useless on me so far. Dear God, please help me, I cant stand it any longer.

Shall we dance?

On the way back home, I watched "Shall we dance". It's a fantastic movie. I remembered watching it at Kat's house but I found it boring and didnt even finished it. But after 2 years, when i'm crazily in love with ballroom and latin dance, it was sooo nice. How I wish i could have a Mr Clark too!

Since i've picked up ballroom and latin dance recently, i've been wishing so much for a dance partner. Basically, dancing is my passion, i LOVE dancing. I always wanted to learn some sort of dance during my uni year or serve God in church with some sort of dancing ministry. Finally, I was given the chance this year. It's a shame that it's not in church setting, but in so-called "worldly" & "secular" dancesport. Anyway, i thank God for such chance.

I wanted so much to continue but i dont have a dance partner. Guys who dance r rare, like dinosaurs. Guys always think dancing is not a macho thing, not masculine enough, guys should be playing football, rugby etc etc. Well, to some extent, this is true. But definitely not for MEN WHO DANCE BALLROOM!!!!! You have to be a MAN to be able to dance ballroom, cos the guy has to LEAD. I prefered Latin (just have to shake ) to Ballroom cos i think ballroom is harder. But amazingly, when i danced with a guy who knows how to lead, it's superb. We girls just have to switch off our brains, and just FOLLOWED. (Well, a bit different in Latin i think).

I just feel nowadays, the world is changing, especially the role of men and women. Aren't men suppose to lead and women follow? Why r there so many exchanging of roles? You may think i'm conservative, but i think i'll still follow my principle. It's even stated in the bible.

I admire those guys in my dance class. Well, i'm not sure about their personal lives. But one thing i'm sure is that they all can lead and take initiative in the dance. That's already a bonus. Hehe.

Got my first pair of dancing shoes. Really excited, can't wait to try them in dance class. However much i love it, i might not be able to continue. Well, we'll see. Pray that God grant me a dance partner then i can follow my dream. (Day-dreaming)

Delicious food!!!!!!!!!!!!!

All the wonderful, mouth-watering food. If only I have four stomachs.

From left to right, top to bottom: Hot & Sour Ramen, Xiao Long Bao, Tempura & Sushi set, Dumpling filled with soup, Taco balls, Apple crumble cheesecake, Parmesan cheese pretzel, Big feast & last but not least KING prawn.

First Business Class Flight

After running like mad in the rain, pulling my huge luggage, finally I got on the coach on time, heading towards Heathrow airport. The road was closed due to football match. Thank God for En, if not I wont be able to make it on time.

Going home is always ‘stressful’ to me, ‘cause I worry about time, luggage weight, air ticket, and the traveling. After checking in safely, I had a break in the café, ordered myself a bottle of cranberry juice and a salmon-cream cheese bagel. Dunno whether this is what Chinese people called “professional disease, (zhi ye bing)”, I found out that my bottle of juice is expired. Haha, too much of accuracy checking in OSCPE tests.

After much waiting, I finally sat in my seat, on the plane, ready for my journey home, with a little headache coming up. When I just wanted to start grumbling in my heart, something wonderful happened. An air-stewardess called my name and told me that I was upgraded to business class seat. I can’t believe my ears. But there I was, sitting in the wide seat of business class, busy exploring the various gadgets around. I can’t help but giving thanks to God for the unexpected gift. He must knew that I’m having a headache, so He gave me a treat, to comfort me. God is good.

That was my FIRST business class flight. It’s so wonderful. I got called by my name, served nice food (Yum Yum), and the most interesting thing was, I was able to sleep flat, as in 180º. It was the nicest flight I’ve ever had. Flying is no longer a suffer, but something to enjoy.

For the first ever time, I wished the flight was longer.

Today and tomorrow

Suddenly realised, for the past few year, I've spent most of my "today"s worrying for "tomorrow"s. Trying to plan everything ahead so that everything would be in control and prepared. I thought, in that way, I won't waste anytime, can live my "tomorrow"s to the fullest. Who knows, in contrast, not only "tomorrow"s are unpredicted, I've lost most of my "today"s. I lived my "today"s in sorrow and fear, hoping "tomorrow"s will be joyous and secured, but it never was.

"Present" is indeed the most precious present. I decided to stop, take a break, and look around me. Then I realised, how beautiful is the world God created.
